
Audra is a National Geographic Explorer and Postdoctoral researcher in the Wayne Lab. She also completed her PhD studies in the Wayne Lab. Prior to UCLA, she was a two-time Smithsonian Fellow at the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute. She received her Master of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Michigan and will obtain her PhD in Biology from UCLA in 2021. She studies male infertility in large cat species, she is currently assessing mountain lions in Southern California for male infertility. Her work expertise includes: collecting sperm samples, completing semen assessments under the microscope, RNA-Seq, and WGS analyses.
